Use your clients built in .torrent file generator, or download and Install MakeTorrent. (XP users will need to run in 95/98 compatibility mode)
Step 2
Start up the MakeTorrent program you just installed. Version 2.0 looks like this:.
Step 3
Fill in the value for the Tracker. To use the Pure TnA tracker, you need to set it to http://tracker.puretna.com/announce.php like in the above image.
Step 4
Browse through your hard drive until you find the files you want to share. Select the files like in the picture below:
(if you have an entire directory you want to share, select "Classic" instead of "Simple" and click "(dir)" to select the directory. All the other steps will be the same.)
Step 5
Click "Create .torrent Now!".
You will be asked to pick a location to save your new .torrent file. Save it somewhere you will easily remember.
Progress...
MakeTorrent will create the torrent file. This may take a few minutes depending on the size of the files:
When it's done, click "Finished" and close off the MakeTorrent program. The .torrent file has been made!
Step 6
Log in to the Pure TnA web site (if you're not already) and click on the "Upload" link.
Click on the "Browse" button to the right of "Torrent File" and find the .torrent file you created in Step 5.
Fill out the rest of the form with as many details about the file as you can. You can always come back and edit the description and details later.
When you're finished, click "Upload".
Step 7 - Almost done!
You have to start seeding your torrent before anyone else will be able to download it from you.
To do this, click on the link to download the torrent file you just uploaded. When your bittorrent downloader starts up it'll ask you where to save the files - pick the SAME LOCATION you used to create the .torrent.
(Since you've got 100% of the files already, your bittorrent program will probably go through a checking routine to make sure that the files are all there. Once it's done it'll start seeding your .torrent.
IMPORTANT: Seed your posts until at least 3 or 4 others have the complete file.
